General Dentistry
Preventive dental services are an essential part of maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Routine cleanings and exams, combined with a thorough at-home oral care routine and additional preventive treatments, will put you on a path toward exceptional oral health.

Exams
Dental checkups are recommended at least every 6 months. SmileShack dentists will perform a thorough examination of your general oral health and hygiene. We will be looking for things such as cavities, root decay, oral cancer, and assess the health of the gums and bone that support your teeth. Using state-of-the-art equipment such as digital X-rays and 3-D Technology, we will analyze your need for any treatment. Proactive dental care is the key to a healthy smile, so we encourage anyone who hasn’t seen the dentist in over 6 months to schedule an appointment at our office so that we can help you maintain a beautiful smile that will last a lifetime.

Cleanings
Regular exams and dental cleanings help us remain one step ahead of dental problems, especially those that can involve the gums and bone that support your teeth. Left untreated, these problems can lead to the loss of bone tissue, loss of teeth, and negatively affect your overall health and wellness. For many patients a professional cleaning of your teeth and just below the gumline (sometimes called a “prophy”) is adequate. However, some patients have more involved symptoms of gum disease in which case a prophy may not be enough. Scaling and root planing (sometimes called a “deep cleaning”), is a non-surgical technique our dentists may use in these situations to remove plaque and tartar that has built up beneath the gumline.
Restorative SERVICES
Restorative care can become necessary when the teeth or gums are affected by decay, dental trauma, periodontal disease, or other issues. Our team is here to help you and your family should you ever need to restore your smile. From composite fillings to tooth extractions, we have you covered!
-
Crowns
A high-quality dental crown (sometimes called a “cap”) can protect and reinforce a single tooth that has been damaged. They are custom-made to fit over your tooth and blend in with the color of your other teeth for a seamless and natural appearance. Crowns can be used to treat teeth that are damaged, discolored, weakened, smaller than normal or have big cavities. SmileShack dentists use crowns made of high-quality porcelain material that look natural and improve the overall appearance of your smile.
-
Bridges
Missing teeth can lead to multiple functional and cosmetic issues. A bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth with an artificial tooth that is supported by your natural teeth in order to improve the esthetics and health of your mouth. We use high-quality porcelain material to ensure you have the best result possible.
-
Dentures
If you need to replace missing teeth, dentures are another great option. Removable dentures can improve the appearance of your smile while also making it easier to speak and eat. Patients can receive complete or partial removable dentures. Complete dentures replace all the teeth in your upper arch, lower arch, or both. Partial dentures rely on the support of your remaining natural teeth to fill in the spaces left by the teeth you’re missing. SmileShack dentures are custom-made with hiqh-quality materials to restore function and look as natural as possible. Our team will work with you to determine if full or partial dentures are the best option for your situation.
-
Root Canals
Root canal therapy is recommended for the treatment of badly decaying teeth when a simple dental filling is no longer an option. Root canal therapy, also known as endodontic treatment, heals the affected tooth so that you can avoid an extraction. SmileShack dentists complete your therapy with precision and accuracy using cutting-edge equipment and techniques. We understand that anxiety might accompany these procedures but rest assured that our team will put your comfort and care first.
-
Extractions
We make every attempt to maintain and preserve your natural teeth, but there are times when it is necessary to extract a tooth or multiple teeth. This is usually reserved for teeth that have become irreparably damaged, badly decayed, impacted (still in your gums) and for orthodontic patients that have severe crowding. Whatever the cause for your tooth extractions, our team will work with you to create a treatment plan to fill-in any remaining spaces to give you the smile you deserve.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Looking for a way to enhance the appearance of your smile? Cosmetic dental services are performed with the primary goal of improving the look of the teeth. Professional teeth whitening is a quick and effective way to brighten teeth, while traditional veneers are more commonly used for complete smile makeovers.
-
Whitening
It’s no secret that having a big, beautiful smile is a tremendous asset. Part of that involves keeping your teeth nice and white. Although there are several over-the-counter tooth whitening treatments available, they rarely give you the results you’re looking for. So we’ve decided to give our patients something that does work, SmileShack at-home teeth whitening kits. New patients will receive a complimentary whitening kit that includes custom dental trays and professional strength whitening gel, that we will replenish at your regular dental checkups. Talk to a friendly team member for more details.

Veneers
Veneers are a quick, easy and effective way to improve your smile by covering damaged, crooked, spaced or discolored teeth. This technique is known for giving both men and women a life-changing smile transformation. Veneers are made from a high-quality, thin, tooth-colored shell material that is bonded to the front of your teeth. They conceal a variety of cosmetic imperfections, resulting in a straighter, whiter smile in a relatively short amount of time. We combine our years of experience, with state-of-the-art technology and innovative veneer options to help you achieve an amazing smile that is sure to give you the confidence and smile you deserve.
-
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Cavities form when germs eat away at the outer, enamel surface of teeth. The germs must be removed before the cavity can be filled. Previously, dental cavities were filled with a metal material that some researchers have indicated can be harmful to your health. As a result, we offer tooth-colored fillings for the treatment of dental cavities. These fillings are made of innovative materials that not only fill the cavity but also contribute to maintaining the natural look of your smile.
Braces & Clear Aligners
Our practice offers conventional metal braces for patients who want to achieve a straighter smile. Not only does orthodontic treatment lead to a more symmetrical, uniform smile, but it can also help patients have an easier time chewing and make it easier to brush and floss, which can help the patient maintain beautiful, healthy teeth. Metal braces work 24/7 to straighten teeth, correct bites, and help patients achieve their smile goals.

State-of-the-Art Dental Technology
SmileShack Dental & Braces is committed to providing patients with efficient, high-quality dental care, and that begins with modern dental equipment and treatment methods.
3D X-Rays
3D X-rays capture highly detailed images of the patients’ teeth and jaws. Utilizing panoramic images helps our team get a better understanding of how the teeth are interacting together and with the jawbone. This information helps our team plan treatments like braces and dental implants. High-quality digital X-rays also lead to faster diagnoses and treatments.
Soft-Tissue Laser Gum Therapy
While laser treatments may sound intimidating, they are actually much more precise than traditional gum treatments, which leads to a more comfortable experience for the patient. Dental lasers gently vaporize diseased tissue in and around the gum pockets and promote quick and painless healing.
Digital Scanners
High-quality digital scanners can simplify and enhance dental treatments. Instead of a traditional impression, a digital scanner is a wand-like device that connects with our computer technology and scans your mouth in minutes. A scanner helps provide 3D image results, allowing high-quality visualization and precision fabrication of restorations and other dental treatments.
Kids’ DENTISTRY
SmileShack Dental & Braces accepts patients of all ages, and we love working with babies, children, and teens. Our compassionate team enjoys taking the time to explain our treatments to our younger patients and ensuring that they feel comfortable and informed during every visit. Our goal is to instill healthy dental habits in our pediatric patients so that they understand the importance of dentistry from a young age and grow up to be dental-health conscious adults.

Kids’ Dentistry
A beautiful, healthy smile is essential at all ages of life. At SmileShack, our objective is to provide each kid with a stress-free dental visit so that they create a positive relationship with our team. Parents should arrange their children’s dental cleanings and exams at least twice a year. We will examine your child’s teeth for development, search for areas of concern, and teach them how to care for their mouth during their visit.
Emergency DENTISTRY
Not every dental office accepts emergency appointments, but SmileShack Dental & Braces is happy to offer prompt emergency dental services. If you believe you or a loved one needs to see an emergency dentist, we recommend giving our office a call. This allows our team to get a better understanding of the situation, offer some preliminary advice, and begin preparing a treatment room. Common dental emergencies include unbearable tooth pain, damaged or knocked-out teeth, uncontrollable dental bleeding, and dental abscesses.
